Asia Water Development Outlook (AWDO)
ADB’s Asian Water Development Outlook (AWDO) is a comprehensive assessment of water security across Asia and the Pacific. Covering 50 economies, AWDO applies five key dimensions to build a robust evidence base that informs national planning, investment decisions, and policy reform. The latest edition was officially launched at the IWA Water Development Congress and Exhibition in Bangkok, Thailand.
Accelerated Innovation Approach
The Water Organization Partnerships for Resilience is designed to supercharge knowledge sharing and capacity building among water entities in Asia and the Pacific. The program connects high-performing, experienced and efficient water organizations (mentors) with those seeking institutional strengthening (mentees) through a peer-to-peer learning approach. Since 2007, WOP4R has supported 83 twinning partnerships, enabling ~$1.1 billion worth of investments in water supply and sanitation
Community-Centered Change Management
The meaningful youth engagement initiative elevates youth voices in the water sector and addresses the critical role young people play in the sector within ADB, driving the momentum toward a dedicated Water & Youth Action Agenda.
